There used to be a guy who posted on SI about the "theory of maximum pain". He would show that frequently, stocks would close at a price that would cause most option buyers to lose their money. Did anyone say "manipulation"? It's a good idea to check outstanding option plays on a stock before buying or selling a stock close to options expiration. JMHO.
