The impact of 4:1 split on naked puts. In accounting, a stock split has no effect, just like calling six half a dozen. But in the market it has psychological effect which more likely boost the shares even higher. Therefore most people are euphoric about that. As a put seller, I do not like it . I scream: Do not split Dr Irwin Jacobs, do not split, well he is going to split it anyway . We will have to live with it. Best regards Paul
