I am not going to time this one. But I will be very suprised if MSFT doesn't go down a few points, on a few trading days this week. MOre likely will end the week down about 2-5 points. Let us see if this prediction holds. Though short term prediction is blind. If it goes up, I get to gain an awesome amount. But I am going to buy some protective puts. My only downside worry on the stock at this point is if the news comes out the DOJ and MSFT could not settle after mediation effort by Posner. There is a strong sentiment that settlement is around the corner. I remain worried about the impact to my portfolio if the settlement talks fail to produce any fruits. Also there was talk on CNBC Friday that there will be heavy selling in first week of Jan. when all the internuts holders will take profits and don't have to pay taxes on the profits for one year. johnd
