AOL's Digital City and Boyd Gaming Reach Advertising Agreement for Digital City Atlantic City
VIENNA, Va., and ATLANTIC CITY, N.J., May 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Boyd Gaming Corporation, (NYSE: BYD) and AOL's Digital City, the number one local content network and interactive community guide, today announced an advertising agreement that will showcase The Borgata, Boyd Gaming's $750 million planned casino resort with Mirage Resorts, Inc. (NYSE: MIR), as the featured resort on Digital City Atlantic City. As part of the agreement, The Borgata will become the premier and featured casino resort on the main screen of Digital City Atlantic City on all Digital City distribution platforms including: AOL, AOL.com, CompuServe, Netscape's Netcenter, MCI WorldCom Internet and digitalcity.com. AOL and web users will now have an additional outlet for information about The Borgata, which is scheduled to open in mid 2002.
