Nihil, you are incorrect. Being a monopoly is NOT illegal. Using monopolistic power to inhibit competition IS illegal. It's a subtle point, but a valid one, especially in today's economic climate.

Antitrust law generally recognizes the new economics brought about by technology, where one company can gain a dominant even monopolistic share of the market. The inquiries only begin after abuses take place. Cisco is not an abuser and Cisco has significant competition in every sector of their industry. Any antitrust lawyer knows that there would be a weak case at best against Cisco and by the time the court ever met, the whole industry will have changed anyway.

Forget it, Nihil. Pushing antitrust propaganda against Cisco is like pissing into the wind.
