I adored Andy Kaufman. He was a genius. Another mad artist. If I were producing Saturday Night Live I'd certainly book Mahir as a guest. I hope he's getting paid for these appearances. More than just tickets and hotels and a per diem. He seems to be an innocent, or at least 'innocent' of our strategies of self-presentation, but I suspect he's not a fool, don't you?
