Cars are clean enough, every two years in CA we have to get "smog checked" and the
results are interesting. There is virtually no O2 in the output and lots of CO2. So
that proves your point that cars are now a small contributor to pollution.
And certainly diesels, having snuck by on pollution control devices, should be cleaned.
Diesel cars are an abomination, luckily we recently had a change of fuel here that
destroyed most of those smoking Benzes.

I was first concerned about the fuel cell in the phone due to the heat of formation
of the water. But it looks like the burn rate of the fuel will be so low that it won't
contribute much. And indeed the liquid will nicely transfer the heat around and prevent
those life-shortening hot-spots. 'Course those NiCd batteries even have an endothermic
reaction while discharging. But the Li batteries should displace them with their
higher energy density.

What is the money going to the bereaved family for? The organ had no further value
for them. There is a step function at the time of death it would seem.

The eye repairs are interesting. At this point the service is even advertised at the mall.
And there is aggressive price competion between the providers.
So what happens when most eyes are "fixed"? Do all the optometrists and opticians go away?
Fortunately cell phone retailers will stand by to fill the available retail space.
This and other elective surgeries point to what happens when there is no 3rd party
payer. And pure economics rule.
