When I was advocating that intc manage expectations, I didn't mean they have to make up things that are not truthful. Managing expectations is all about creating a reputation for truthfulness so that analysts and would be stock price manipulators are easily refuted when they come out with negative comments.

Creating false perceptions or misleading perceptions can only hurt in the long term.

I hope you are wrong and I think you are wrong. If you are right about this false perception type of activity that Intel is engaged in, the stock price will only go up in the short term and the come crashing back down again. This has happened over and over again for AMD. Look at their historical charts.

Haven't we learned anything from what AMD has been teaching us over the years?
