OT - Evaluating mutual funds. FYI to all. I recommend a relatively new site: www.personalfund.com. It allows a mutual fund investor to evaluate the cost and performance of any mutual fund in absolute terms and against similar funds. It is devastating for the funds with high costs/tax hits. Wait until this site becomes more widely used. Another nail in the coffin for high-cost funds. I used the information to convince my mother to dump five funds her broker put her into a few years ago. We will be selling on Monday.
