Brother in Christ, Gregor:

That was a wonderful praise report. Thank-you for sharing it.

I recall your earlier messages about the wonderful work and growth of your church. I am glad to read the update. Your church appears to be a mighty work of the Lord. I have no doubts that a great deal of His work is done through His organized church and yours sounds like one through which He is doing a mighty work.

I would also like to praise God for His work in my church. My church is much smaller than yours, but those who have been there for more than about six years have definitely seen the Lord at work. About six years ago there were about six families, about 25 people, including my family and me, who committed to keeping the doors of the church open for at least six more months. There had been some problems prior to that which had resulted in a number of families leaving the church. Those of us who made the six month commitment, all felt that the Lord had plans for our church even though we were only one family away from being forced to close the doors forever. Our new pastor was clearly a man of God and has remained with the church the whole time since he arrived six years ago. Progress seemed excrutiatingly slow, but our Pastor, through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, lead us to a revival and a renewal of our near dead church. Since that time we regularly run more than 90 and often have over 100 in attendance. The Lord is present there, too. His presence is as discernable as fragrant incense. Our growth is hampered by our facilities which can only seat about 125 in the sanctuary. We have now made a commitment to expand our seating capacity to 250 in the short term and much more in the long term. There is an excitement in the air and it is so wonderful to see God at work.

Please pray for my small church as we expand our church facilities so we may more effectively participate in the harvest.

In Christ, Tom
