Charlie,

So, we know now that for the digital display, be it flat panel or CRT (yes, the õdigitalù CRT will be available in 2000), there is a standard and its called Digital Visual Interface (DVI). DVI specification is based upon Silicon Image's PanelLink technology

This PC Magazine article talk about DVI and Silicon Image. After reading through it, we know why digital display sounds easy and straight forward, but it has more challenge compared to analog in terms of design.

Did a little bit of looking at GNSS. GNSS does have DVI compliant chipset, but SIMG (offering both transmitters and receivers) seems to be the leader in this arena to me, well, the DVI standard is based on SIMG's patent.
