Friday I bought to close my covered calls on VERT, mostly for tax purposes. I will take the 10 point loss on the covered calls and prevent my shares from being called away before the new year deferring capital gains of about 34 points. Of course I think VERT is going higher or I would've just walked away with almost 28 points. I'm not well versed on taxes so I hope that strategy is valid.

When I said the Dec options were too pricey, I guess they were pricey for a reason. Oh well, can't win 'em all. 25 points is better than no points. I haven't been paying much attention to VERT as of late, (all my focus on MSFT which y'all should get long), but I think VERT is poised to still climb higher. If a buying opp presents itself I will increase my long position via stock or calls.

P.S. Still keeping an eye on ITRA
