max90.... you are right, Thompson's denotes all large blocks as Institutional trades. Pull up a couple penny stocks (non-reporting yet) and see that they show the majority of trades are those of institutions (the truth of the matter is the orders are placed by traders who should be institutionalized). I don't recall the exact number but any trade over a certain value/number is registered as an institutional trade on Thompson's.
