I had an interesting experience last night. I was at a Christmas Party when I realized that two fellows unknown to me where discussing AT&T's Project Angel in quite some detail. I introduced myself & said "my that sounds interesting...." and asked the one guy if he was working on Angel. Yes, it turns out. He explained how the pizza sized box will provide 2 phone lines, DSL, wireless and Cable for "far less than $100 per month" and it would be rolled out in the 2nd quarter of 2000. I eventually asked if AT&T wasn't going to have to scrap TDMA wireless technology in favor of CDMA, and the guy really hesitated, grinned and said with Project Angel, we will have TDMA/CDMA intercapability. I said really, aren't you guys going to be talking with QCOM this week, on the very subject. And you should have seen his face.....and he then says..."uhh, uhh I a,.....we, uh I shouldn't talk about this.." For what it's worth, I thought it was interesting. Scott
