Colleen, I thought you might find this poem to be as thought provoking as I did.

BLOOD ON YOUR PALMS
by Charles Murray

Everyone is looking for a reason,
and answers come in many forms,
but if you shake hands with the devil,
you're bound to get blood on your palms.

It started, they say, in the 30's,
when the New Deal was first spawned;
They have taken away your identity,
and given you a number for alms.

Now, I can still hear the words of the preacher,
"come out from among Babylon";
Our cities have turned into jungles,
and the bankers are taking our farms.

Oh, how long will ye not listen,
over 2,000 years are now gone;
This world cannot stand forever,
the winds are now blowing strong.

Whenever the words reach the people,
they will be coming from miles around;
While politicians have been lying to people,
and saying our foundations are sound.

They're changing our laws and constitution,
and turning the words all around;
Angels in Heaven are crying,
while blood soaks into the ground.

So come, my people, get ready,
the time of the Gentiles is fulfilled;
Believe in the words of our Savior.
the Lost Sheep of Israel are found.

Come, all his children, stand steady,
beat swords from the shears of your plows,
and heed the words of Revelation,
for Christ's victory is emanate now.
