I think so. Left wing means party (or government) control of the economy, right wing means business control of the government and running the state as a private club for the (previously) wealthy and privileged. The irony of Nazi Germany is that that the rich conservatives hoped they could control the Nazis if they empowered them but it turned out otherwise. Most of the Nazis helping the rich was for military production, but the rich who cooperated did quite well financially out of helping the Nazis. Left wingers would have shot the capitalists and seized their assets. Remember that Lenin encouraged capitalism in USSR during the NEP period. Even Henry Ford did business there. But it was temporary, and Stalin destroyed even the small peasant farmers. The left wing wants to destroy independent business, big or small.
