Daniel: I had QCOM on my watchlist for the past two years, even put in the occasional limit order in the 25-30 range...and missed each time (penny wise--pound foolish). My resources were deployed elsewhere and by the time I turned my attention back to this gem, it was already north of 200. The wait for a 'pullback' was, of course, in vain so I ultimately got tired of waiting and jumped in at ~265...(procrastination, in this case, was extremely dear). The potential is there for 10k but I would be perfectly content to see the stock do, over the next five years, what it has managed to do in the past 52 weeks--an almost twentyfold increase. BTW, are you aware of any plans to split? 10 for 1 would seem to make sense, no? Best of luck in your quest for retirement at 40. Wolf p.s. Did you ever follow through on your intention to pick up CD in the 16-18 range? If so, congratulations. This has become my single largest holding over the past year so the events of the last two weeks were more than welcome :-)
