OT, but worth a vision or two. If you try and picture all the small shops offline, everything. Then envision a bit more dust upon these brickNmortar shops, I predict we will see a gradual increase in unemployment, bankruptcies, and vacant spaces in a gradual increase over the next 5 years. Not preaching doom&gloom, just viewing the once strip malls or corner market places a bit more empty. How's the mom and pops shops to fare? Don't know, but the older generation needs to eventually get their act together as e-commerce fine-tunes its engines in the next 5 years. I'd bet a prediction of +8% unemployment by year 2003ish. No, I'm not basing this on one article...... : ) ecommercetimes.com I hope everyone here makes a few zillion for all their patience..... Temp' Vancouver bound!!
