Dear Zeev: Didnt realize you get around so much, was surprised to see you on this thread. Glad to see you though!! I have a question for you------IMHO I am thinking this rate business gets overblown. Seems to me what is MOST important is LIQUIDITY. ie the market has already determined the rates and at this point the Fed seems to be merely following the market with its rate structure. I think so long as they keep the money supply flowing nicely the market should hold. What I DONT KNOW is if in fact they will keep the money supply flowing. ie there is the possability they jacked it up a little to offsett any Y2K problems. What do you think? JDN
