You do not understand me at all. You are (like so many others) bringing some personal baggage to this discussion. I can't tell you why you are doing this- but you (and others) have completely mis-read me. I find that interesting from a sociological perspective and I find it illuminating- but I am not sure what it illuminates.

This was hardly private discussion material. MY point was rational, unemotional and non-judgmental. The same cannot be said for most of the posts I received.
