"Nobody wants to know about fundamentals anymore" is the most "fundamental" comment one can make about this market. (g)

In fact, it was the recognition of this fact about two years ago that saved this old water rat from drowning.

One simply cannot short the crud in this market in the same manner as one would have during normal times when falling profits were rewarded with falling share prices.

On another front, I'd keep an eye on Intel. It would really surprise me if the company doesn't warn and warn big. Things have not gone well during this, the biggest of their sales quarters.
