Thanks for the site. It was posted by Sherry some time ago. I'm not so sure that simply dumping food on poor countries is always a good thing. It can cause normal supply lines to atrophy. If I were hungry, the first thing I would want would be some food, but then I'd like some strategy to avoid future hunger. I've been away, sorry for unanswered posts. This thread is disappointing so far. I had hoped we'd get some discussion going as to the pros and cons of particular charities and issues. The end of the year is near. If US participants want a tax break for their donations, now is the time to make them. I'd like more info, advice, and discussion on where to donate.
