SeaView Updates Filings, Sales Estimates...
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., Dec. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- SeaView Video Technology Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: SEVU SEVUE) citing above-average demand, today released estimated FY 1999 gross sales through the week ending December 10. CEO, Rich McBride, also affirmed progress on quarterly EDGAR filings, which should be ''current and up to date within the next few business days.''
Capsule figures:
FY 98 Gross Sales (audited) $635,485.58 Cost of Sales $ 149,354.93 FY 99 Gross Sales (estimated) $1,450,782.00 Cost of Sales $ 232,125.12 McBride notes, ''The introduction of our SecureView(TM) patent-protected 'Light Bulb Camera' should generate a huge increase in gross revenue for the year 2000. Just the initial sales contracts we're negotiating now, amount to a figure that passes the combined total of 2 years' gross sales in the Underwater Division.'' Jennifer Lawson, SeaView communications consultant, reports high call volume sparked by recent national TV exposure from the SeaView-Continental Airlines-sponsored fishing tournament, as well as a Key Product Highlight feature shot at last month's Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show, both in multiple airings on ESPN.
The Underwater Division is heading for robust growth as well, says McBride. ''Right now, the majority of our underwater camera sales are direct response, mostly from magazine ads. Next year, SeaView will appear in marine retail outlets. We know from our boat show experience, that when customers can see and touch, we close over 80 percent!''
SeaView has also been contacted by the U.S. Department of Commerce, and invited to participate in sponsored trade shows overseas, particularly for commercial division products such as Well-Cam(TM) for the oil & gas industry.
