One of the best things we did- I think- was decide as soon as we had children, to stay home at Christmas for exactly the reason you stated. We invited people to us, but we wanted our own home and traditions. Now we drive to Dan's parents a couple of hours away after we have our Xmas morning as the drive is getting hard for them. A terrible confession. LAst night I watched South Park with CW and Stacy and -- I laughed at Mr. Hanky. If you have never seen this, don't.
