i'll go out on a limb here. In the macro scope, back in early - mid 1998, SFAM and its equal (___ forget name at the moment, think it began with I___) looked comparable to WIND & INTS.

For quite a while, I____ had the better financials, but was at a lower price than SFAM. For quite a while, INTS had the better relative value than WIND.

I mentioned to "uncle" F. SFAM & the other co ought to get together -didn't know any better. When it happened, immediately thought WIND should buy out INTS - several months later it happened, but took way too long so I was out of the position in INTS happened.

Now, today something I hadn't seen before, though I hadn't followed it as closely as I once did, MENT & MMCN mention their working relationship. Hmmm... MMCN loses customer in IBM, sales to CSCO slowing. MENT has a few of it's own problems, but with MENT's activity seems MENT should be at a higher price. Possibly something will happen with these two co's - maybe more joint-working, possibly sale of one division from one to the other, for survival of both co's.
Something to keep an eye on - both co's. Thx for the person who brought MENT back to my attention a few weeks back.
