I don't think we disagree very much.

I am still very comfortable with my home run bet on AMD.

However it is stupid to dismiss Intel.

Based on their notched gates and process tweaks I am sure they will be at 850-950 in Q1/Q2 2000. And we know about their cost structure.

In addition the Celeron is to be updated putting increased pressure on K6-2+ family.

One should remain somewhat paranoid methinks. It would be a shame if a casual reader simply buys into the AMD RAH-RAH process ignoring what a formidable competitor Intel is.
