Semiconductor book-to-bill data for November will be released after the close today; Merrill Lynch forecasting total equipment ratio to be 1.10 versus 1.09 in October and front end equipment ratio to be 1.14 versus 1.12; firm views ratio as a lagging indicator and simply reflects the news companies have already reported; expects December ratio to increase sharply. the stock is way over due for a split announcement.. according to amat website they split every two years. we were suppose to already split by now... maybe we get a 3/1?
