awards for Apptivity How long ago was the last one? adoption by high fliers such as Yahoo. But I don't exactly get the image of waves and waves of new and major customers moving in. And, frankly, it seems to me that other players are showing a more convincing momentum. You could be right that smart objects may not be OO The only Progress developer I respect who actually uses SOs does so because it was a decision his company made before they knew any better and they have regreted it ever since. In fact, they are busy looking at other products. SOs are certainly better now than they were, but they sure aren't anything you would want to show a real OO developer unless it was for the purpose of generating laughter.
