In the high-tech world, spinning is a popular pastime! Kenneth, what's your take on why Cisco bought Pirelli? What were they really after? Certainly didn't think Pirelli was in the forefront of optical networking but perhaps they have a component technology that is of interest to CSCO? Or were they after Pirelli's European PTT/Carrier relationship/customer base? Don't really know much about Pirelli so this one seems strange but there is an obvious angle to the purchase I would assume?
