Michael D. Troiano Named President of Primix Solutions
Troiano and Byung ("B.J.") Choi Elected Officers of the Corporation
Watertown, MA ? - December 20, 1999 ? Primix Solutions Inc. (NASDAQ: PMIX), a premier strategic Internet services (SIS) firm, today announced that Michael D. Troiano has been appointed president. Mr. Troiano, a former advertising agency executive and CEO of Ogilvy & Mather Interactive, has served as Primix' senior vice president of corporate development since January. The company also announced that Troiano and Byung ("B.J.") Choi, senior vice president and head of operations, have been elected officers of the corporation by the board of directors.

"Mike Troiano has a very rare combination of experience in business strategy, brand development, and management consulting at top firms in each of these disciplines. He has led organizations in the strategic Internet services space since 1994, and has over this past year proven himself to be a leader who delivers results within our company as well," said Lennart Mengwall, chairman and CEO of Primix Solutions. "Mike's efforts over this past year as part of what may be the hardest working executive team in this industry have earned him the respect of his peers, the support of our three core disciplines, and the loyalty of many of our most important clients. Naming him our president is a natural step, a validation of the dramatic progress we made as a team in 1999, and the right move to position us for even greater success in the new millennium."

Mr. Troiano began his career in advertising, first at McCann-Erickson in New York and later at Foote, Cone & Belding in San Francisco. After a stint as a management consultant at The Monitor Company in Cambridge, Mr. Troiano joined WPP Group as director of Special Projects in 1994. While at WPP Group, Mr. Troiano was responsible for exploring business process re-design initiatives, strategic alliances and acquisitions, and the implications of new media for the world's largest professional services parent company. In 1995, he was named CEO of Ogilvy & Mather Interactive, an operating unit of the world's fifth largest agency network. At O&MI, he was responsible for winning new assignments from American Express and establishing new relationships with IBM, Fidelity Investments and Shell Oil Company. Mike went on to co-found New York-based strategic Internet services firm Brandscape in 1996, acting as the firm's CEO for two years before joining Primix with Mr. Choi at the start of 1999. He holds an undergraduate degree from Cornell University and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.

B.J. Choi began his career at IBM where he held several IT and operations positions. He subsequently joined JP Morgan where he rose to vice president of Global Technology & Operations, playing a key role in the management of a global operating budget of over $1.3 billion and a staff of 3,500 in 22 countries. Mr. Choi was appointed chief operating officer of Ogilvy & Mather Interactive in 1995, and went on to co-found Brandscape in 1996, acting as that firm's COO. He holds an undergraduate degree in Computer Science from Columbia University.
