I would be *shocked* if HUMC were to buy Altris. They (HUMC) don't need Altris technology for where they are going.

When you get right down to it, in the business automation end of the imaging market, you don't need a heck of a lot of funky capability these days to deliver really capable imaging solutions. HUMC already has a decent set of products in this space, both their own and also through third parties (excellent example would be the very good Ascent Capture application for volume image acquisition).

If Altris had some compelling technology to bring to the tablem, particularily in the workflow space -- and they don't have anything to offer HUMC there -- I could seem them as a potential target. If they are a target it will be for someone else IMO.
