Jim, re:

"Feed some high Mhz Floppers to key Tier one OEMs so they won't lose them to AMD"
"To regain some lost Mhz pride"
"Sure din't allow Intel to take their sweet time with the Flopper release like they wanted."
"an act of desperation"

Jim, you must have great connections within Intel to know their emotions and motivations. Credit where credit is due, you can spin news to match your viewpoint with the best. A casual reader of your post would think Intel is beaten, demoralized and on the brink of bankruptcy.

re: "I've owned Intel on and off for many years." Off and on was my point.

re: "Had the opportunity at 71 5/8 but didn't take it." You had an opportunity to buy and hold Intel at about $10. (split adjusted) when we first exchanged notes on Prodigy. If you had, you would be as wealthy as I am today <g>.
