Yes, then you'll read that one should never optimize a sytem to fit a stock and correctly so. The stocks character can change, etc. There are just so many variables, it really is frustrating.

That's why I told DRC never to discard a good idea that tests badly. There can be so many reasons why it failed, be it the operator, the software or the lack of technology.

I have resigned myself to using up to 30% mechanical. I use indicators in scans that practically give me an entry. The exit is where I come in and decide on almost exclsively as I make an entry. My exit is based on line studies where applicable, round or cardinal numbers that may coincide with those said studies and I try to predict a fair percentage for that cycle that defines my time frame. My stop is almost always within 3 - 5% of my entry, excluding commisions.

I actually enjoy the process.
