Thanks for the clarification. What I was attempting to bring out is that the ATHM backbone is a different kind of animal that is engineered for a different kind of service. It's the first of its' kind.

I think that the control that ATHM is architecting into the network from one end to the other will enable them to provide unmatched QOS in the broadband arena. Do you see another provider being able to control traffic flows they way ATHM can?

No apologies necessary. You are clear and I read your posts when I want to know what's really going on. I'm just trying to draw out the fact that the ATHM network is inherently different.
