< I believe there are limits to this.>

One of the big questions of life is finding a limit which can impose itself absolutely and restrict the power of the unlimited. In this case, where can a limit impose itself and restrict the unlimited frenzied bull? Higher rates and borrowing costs will eventually do it because it will hurt corporations and individuals right where it counts, where it hurts, in their pocket or bottom line. All limits are viewed these days as steppingstones to new highs. To make quick easy money in this market one has had to ignore all limits and fundamentals.

The premises of this Bull are very strong and I must say rooted in the moral values of the participants. What do I mean here? I mean investors in Internet Stocks think that the Internet is the Power of the Universe; they think that the Internet has become Truth as Logos, Reality, call it whatever you wish. There is a reason why the fundamentals are constantly being ignored. The Internet represents an essential ingredient in the future progress of mankind. The fundamentals are not just ignored on behalf of concepts like greed. It is a whole moral revolution taking place right now in front of our very own eyes. It will be almost impossible to break. The Information Age has created a whole new set of values which is either unknown to most bears or these bears are just so morally repulsed by these new values that they continue to fight them on behalf of their old-fashioned fundamental values.

This country has had 3 revolutions, Agricultural, Industrial and now Information.

If Gore gets elected, you'll have more the same here. Y2K will pose a big problem; but that's for a different time.
