Where did you read that? Can you provide a link? I was not aware that QCOM had established any kind of time table for the sale (other than as soon as a good deal could be made).

Between their own research, their agreements with companies like Interdigital and their potential purchase of QCOM's handset R&D division it seems like Nokia will have quite a handle on great technology. IMO.
