You sound like you know something about the fast food biz. I have to admit that I don't. I had a few shares of Food Maker (now Jack in the Box) a few years ago, but that is about it for my experience in this sector. My DD was light on Rubio's, but I am so overweighted in High tech and have done so well this year that I thought a small diversification into a local favorite would be fun.

The main purpose of my post was to try to revive this thread, which appears to have worked modestly!

You stated:

"So far their results are about 20% of the industry
standards for fast restaurants and that does not bode well for growing the business or the stock's price."

Could you please explain this? What metrics are you using? I know their P/E is low, but I attribute that to costs of expansion. I also like that they have, so far, little or no debt.

TIA for your insight. I look forward to learning!

Best Regards,

Steve
