  NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 20, 1999--iTurf Inc. (Nasdaq:TURF - news), a leading online teen network providing Internet community, content and commerce services, today announced that it has been experiencing record holiday network traffic, superior execution of order fulfillment, and robust commerce sales.   The company indicated that since Thanksgiving, the online network has consistently received customer orders for, and shipped, over $250,000 in merchandise daily. Peak days have reached over $350,000 in customer demand, a sevenfold increase over the most successful sales day during the 1998 Holiday season. iTurf will continue to guarantee delivery of orders from its commerce sites for Christmas until December 23.
