Changing boot drives in the bios is not that tough as long as you have the option.

The only options appear to be boot from cd rom, floppy , or hard drive (but doesn't seem to allow me to choose which hard drive) The method I have used to change the hard drives is to change the pin settings (which is slightly more time consuming)

If the alt trick works why do you want to try something else?

My original question was based on trying to see if using the alt key method was going to create a problem. I'm still puzzled about the alt key issue.I hit upon that key sequence by accident. Seems it might cause problems with changing drive letters.

Is it because you want to see both drives?

That would be great for restoring images .
