Chris there is something I notice about these "controvercial" jokes about the wicked doing their "thing" If you came on here and started killing yourself laughing because the wicked are going to get punished for blaspheming God's name you would get posted to death. Yet that Joke is about the wicked doing just that and someone oblivious to the wicked. The joke even take's God name in vain. To tell it you must type that in.... sad that any of us would promote in any wise the taking of God or any of His attributes or Holy Laws in vain. I think Jesus may have found the perplexing of the wicked funny at different moments. He and the disciple may have laughed at how they "really thought they had Him this time" and then Jesus would pop their evil little balloons and schemes "till next time". Yet Jesus wept over Jerusalem and the loss of His elect city. ( As a man not as God ) Humour is as all things... of itself not good or evil. The joke unfortunately did take God's name very loosely if not vainly. I have to agree with your verdict. Not becoming for a Christian to tell. WE all have done that let's not do it anymore.
