Well, it happened.

Matters not at this point, I just pasted it in and copied it as a bookmark and it works. Perhaps it's this machine, I've had odd troubles with it before. I used to use AbbottChat, which is an Internet Chat program. Once they upgraded to a Version 2 I downloaded the demo and it still worked. But the full version would work only intermittently here. Abbott Systems said I had a firewall but there isn't one. And again, it worked fine on the Mac which is on the same router and I tested it on a notebook which hangs off Earthlink. No problem on the notebook/Earthlink hook either. Made no sense why, it just would not work.

With all the problems I've had with Gateway computers I wish I owned the stock so I could sell it.
