Well this is certainly interesting . anandtech.com That is the BAPCo 2000 benchmark, intels OWN benchmark practically, and very interesting to see that : a) The antique "soon to be replaced by superiour i820" BX scores far far better with $100 pc100 sdram on this newly released, top of the notch, development approved by Intel-benchmark, than its i820 50MHz higher clocked brother b) Even with the SSE optimisations in various parts of the BABCo software collection, Athlon 800 manages to stay above "intels newest and best" 800MHz on i820 Confusing picture I must admit.
