Rumor is that INPR will discontinue InterBase... heard that there may be an announcement on Thursday. That seems very unlikely, and really doesn't make business sense. I'd think it would be much more likely they would drop support for BDE, which they have referred to on the Borland newsgroups as a "mature product". IB is a decent product and with some marketing effort they could make something out of it. It has an excellent advantage over the rest of the product line in that Borland can make money selling per-user licenses of it. Not saying it isn't going to happen, but I can't see any reason for them to do so...
