SR, i agree...it's actually what one would expect, namely a strong January in view of all the bonuses etc.
Y2k remains a bit of a wild-card though, especially now that no-one cares about it anymore, something i find actually quite incredible. i know not much is known about the actual outcome of y2k, but the little we DO know should give rise to some worries one would expect. and yet, it's now treated as a non-event wherever you look.
