Intermountain To Base Its Upcoming Transaction-Based Web Site On EBPP

SAN ANTONIO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 21, 1999--billserv.com Inc. (OTCBB:BLLS - news), a leading electronic bill presentment and payment (EBPP) service bureau, today announced that it has signed an agreement with Intermountain Gas Company to provide EBPP services.

Intermountain Gas Company is a Boise, Idaho-based provider of natural gas service, serving over 200,000 customers in southern Idaho.

Intermountain plans to launch a transaction-based Web site in Spring 2000, offering EBPP services. In addition to viewing and paying bills online, Intermountain customers will be able to place service orders, access their account information and receive customer service. Intermountain currently sends more than 200,000 paper bills per month.

billserv.com's electronic billing system will create new bill presentment and payment options and another interactive channel for Intermountain to communicate with its customers. Intermountain customers will have the ability to view and pay bills directly on Intermountain's Web site and through a wide variety of billing front-ends resulting from billserv.com's formal relationships with the major billing aggregators including CheckFree, TransPoint and Bank of America.
