JDN, Softworks is profitable (I looked them up in SI profile, financials) and fast growing (top 100 re that article). How'd EMC get them so cheap? I know Mike is supposed to be a tough guy, but... More: SOFTWORKS' products improve the management, performance and integrity of critical corporate information across Windows NT, UNIX, OS/390, and MVS platforms. That's what there is for enterprise, except maybe Linux. OS/390 and MVS are mostly the same (VM would be included in 390 but not in MVS. A little redundancy.). SOFTWORKS' customers include nearly 90% of the Fortune 100 and more than half of the Fortune 500. They certainly have their footprint out there. Sounds good to me. Tony
