Hey Les,

You are back!

Well that was an interesting post. I recall from my
history books that Germany invaded Poland in 1939 under
the pretense that they were preventing civil war and
mayhem. It looks like that invasion excuse is an old
one. I kind of enjoy watching the Russians deal with
the Chechnyans. I think the one Russian general summed
it up best when he said "I am tired of dealing with
these monkeys...I have been here since 1996". It is
good to see that some nations deal with terrorists the
good old fashioned way: surround em and bury them. As
for Kosovo...it looks like Clinton got us into a good
old fashioned quagmire. I read today that Sec. of
Defense Cohen just cancelled the elimination of 25,000
Army Reserve positions. He stated that we are now fully
dependent upon the Army Reserve and National Guard for
defense since Clinton has eliminated nearly 400,000
military service people. Classic liberal military dogma.
Lay off half the military and send the rest out on
endless "humanitarian" missions. If a real crisis comes
along...we are going to be really sorry.
