Well since faith is irrational, it's hard to tell people not to be irrational about it. And blame is so often irrational (although not always).

But yes- it's true, when you have a majority religious holiday AND it is such an effective marketing tool, it's bound to be big and it's bound to be dominant. But my sympathy is usually with the underdog. It is nice to see you talking about the 90% figure for Christians- I can't remember WHO here said this, but someone was talking about Christians being in DANGER. I always like to use this time of a year as an example of just how ludicrous that is. If anyone is in danger (and I really don't think anyone is just now) it would be the other 10%. The minority is always vulnerable.
