Re: "That is the BAPCo 2000 benchmark, intels OWN benchmark practically"

Nice try Michael but that phoney excuse is so worn out it's hard to believe anybody would bother to use it anymore.

Re: "a) The antique "soon to be replaced by superiour i820" BX scores far far better with $100 pc100 sdram on this newly released, top of the notch, development approved by Intel-benchmark, than its i820 50MHz higher clocked brother"

Not surprising that Anand shows lower scores than other sites, Sharkey has the 800MHz RDRAM CuMine Waaaaaaay ahead of Athlon and also well ahead of the 750BX system. Either way the 800MHz Athlon loses to even a 750MHz BX based board. Is this really something you want to brag about?

Re: "b) Even with the SSE optimisations in various parts of the BABCo software collection, Athlon 800 manages to stay above "intels newest and best" 800MHz on i820 "

Where are you getting this from? Some us a link that says BAPco uses ANY SSE optimizations.
