tekboy...thanks for the recap you did good! Did you hear the news on Faber report on CNBC today? Bell Atlantic will receive FCC approval to offer Long Distance service?? Apparently it is the first Baby Bell to be granted approval since the monopoly dissolution of Ma Bell way back when. Fabers "exclusive" should be formally announced tomorrow. In the meantime looks like this could have great implications for ITXC. I took the opportunity to repeat a small blurb from old news: ITXC was the first Internet telephony carrier to begin terminating calls with an RBOC in the United States. The success of the original relationship led Bell Atlantic to sign a new agreement with ITXC on December 9, 1999, to add termination of Internet telephony calls in Baltimore, Boston, North Jersey, Philadelphia, and Washington D.C. Bell Atlantic's carrier class termination service plus the Internet network management offered by ITXC with its patent pending routing technology, BestValue Routing(TM), provides international callers high quality Internet telephony calling to the Bell Atlantic territory.
